ABOUT
Tomasz is a graduate from the Cinematography Department of Łódź Film School. He works as a cinematographer for feature films and adverts. As film school student he has made few docs which were shown at festivals in Poland and worldwide (Palm Spring Film Festival, Angers Film Festival, Tampere Film Festival, Camerimage, Polish Film Festival in Gdynia, Krakow Film Festival, Warsaw Film Festival). At the 59th Krakow Film Festival he was awarded for the best cinematography by Association of Polish Cinematographers. In 2019 he has made his feature debut “Mohyla” with Slovak director Andrej Kolencik. His most recent feature project is a film by Rastislav Boroš “Goldilocks and the glorious Losers” which will be premiered at Warsaw Film Festival in 2022. Recently he worked as a camera operator with Martin Štrba (Charlatan, Kill Sekala) on Iveta Grofova’s feature entry. From 2020 Tomek is a member of ASK – the Slovak Society of Cinematographers. He was selected by the ASC (American Society of Cinematographers) to the ASC Mentorship Program, where he will be artistically led by Russell Carpenter ASC, the cinematographer of Titanic and Avatar: The Way of Water.
